Converting Cyclohexanone to Liquid Fuel-Grade Products: A Characterization and Comparison Study of Hydrotreating Molybdenum Catalysts

Ali Bakhtyari et al.

Summary: The study evaluated molybdenum-based hydrotreating catalysts for the conversion of cyclohexanone in the presence of hydrogen, showing that catalyst type and reaction WHSV affect product distribution, deoxygenation efficiency, and other parameters. Increasing WHSV resulted in lower cyclohexanone conversion rates.

Catalytic Membrane Micro-Reactors for Fuel and Biofuel Processing: A Mini Review

Mohammad Reza Kiani et al.

Summary: Micro-reactor (MR) technology is advantageous for sustainable material production, and the combination of micro-reactors and membrane separation in membrane micro-reactors (MMR) overcomes the production capacity limitation. Research indicates that catalytic MMRs outperform conventional reactors in hydrogen and fuel production.
