Cytochalasin B-Induced Membrane Vesicles from Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells Overexpressing IL2 Are Able to Stimulate CD8+ T-Killers to Kill Human Triple Negative Breast Cancer Cells

Daria S. Chulpanova et al.

Summary: Human mesenchymal stem cells modified to overexpress interleukin-2 (IL2) release membrane vesicles enriched with IL2, which can activate immune cells and induce apoptosis in breast cancer cells. These IL2-enriched membrane vesicles have the potential to be an effective tool for cancer therapy, showcasing specific immunomodulatory effects on human CD8(+) T-killer cells.
