This work presents the discovery of superconductivity in Ir-doped Weyl semimetal T-d-MoTe2 with broken inversion symmetry. The observation of chiral anomaly induced planar Hall effect and anisotropic magneto-resistance confirms the topological semimetallic nature of Mo1-xIrxTe2. The weak anisotropic, moderately coupled type-II superconductivity observed in T-d-Mo1-xIrxTe2 makes it a promising candidate for topological superconductor.
