How (not) to understand weak measurements of velocities

Johannes Fankhauser et al.

Summary: The attempt to observe particle trajectories through weak velocity measurements does not provide new evidence for the standard de Broglie-Bohm theory. Weak velocity measurements can be interpreted within standard quantum mechanics, independent of particle trajectories and velocities. To rely on weak velocity measurements, one must already presuppose the standard de Broglie-Bohm theory, and therefore they do not offer any new arguments or empirical evidence in its support.
