Remote Sensing Image Spatiotemporal Fusion Using a Generative Adversarial Network

Hongyan Zhang et al.

Summary: This article introduces a remote sensing image spatiotemporal fusion method using a generative adversarial network (GAN), which adopts a two-stage framework to significantly improve the prediction accuracy of phenological change and land-cover-type change by fusing the features of high-spatial, low-temporal resolution and low-spatial, high-temporal resolution images.

Enhancing Top-N Recommendation Using Stacked Autoencoder in Context-Aware Recommender System

S. Abinaya et al.

Summary: Context-aware recommender systems (CARS) are important for many companies, especially in online commerce, where users are provided with recommendations about potentially relevant products. Traditional CARS may generate unsatisfactory recommendations due to conflicting feedback between ratings and reviews. To address this, a context-specific sentiment based stacked autoencoder (CSSAE) is proposed to consistently predict user preferences and outperform state-of-the-art top-N recommendation methods on various effectiveness metrics.

Performance analysis of classification and segmentation of cysts in panoramic dental images using convolutional neural network architecture

Sivagami Sivasundaram et al.

Summary: This study introduces a modified LeNet architecture and morphology-based segmentation method for classification and segmentation of oral cyst images. By using data augmentation and a threefold cross-validation method, the methodology achieves high classification rate and sensitivity for cyst segmentation.
