The Emirates Exploration Imager (EXI) Instrument on the Emirates Mars Mission (EMM) Hope Mission

A. R. Jones et al.

Summary: The Emirates Exploration Imager (EXI) on the Emirates Mars Mission (EMM) provides both regional and global imaging capabilities for studying the Martian atmosphere. By combining multiple observations within an orbit with planetary rotation, EXI can provide diurnal sampling over most of the planet on a scale of 10 days, allowing for the delineation of diurnal and seasonal behavior of atmospheric constituents. This temporal and spatial combination distinguishes EXI from other similar imaging systems.

The Emirates Mars Mission (EMM) Emirates Mars InfraRed Spectrometer (EMIRS) Instrument

Christopher S. Edwards et al.

Summary: The Emirates Mars Infrared Spectrometer (EMIRS) will provide remote measurements of the martian surface and lower atmosphere to better understanding the variability of key constituents and temperature profiles. EMIRS has a high spectral sampling rate and wide spectral range for detailed observations.
