Solving matrix games based on Ambika method with hesitant fuzzy information and its application in the counter-terrorism issue

Wenting Xue et al.

Summary: The paper introduces the Ambika method of hesitant fuzzy matrix games (HFMGs) for solving matrix games. By establishing the formal representation and weighting method for HFMGs, the paper proposes a solution for two-player hesitant fuzzy bi-objective nonlinear programming models.

(α, β, γ)-cut set based ranking approach to solving bi-matrix games in neutrosophic environment

Ankan Bhaumik et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the importance of uncertainty in decision-making problems like game theory, as well as how different types of uncertainties are treated in game theory, including single-valued triangular neutrosophic numbers. A new ranking approach based on the (alpha, beta, gamma)-cut of single-valued triangular neutrosophic number is applied to bi-matrix game theory, producing some interesting and relatively good results.

Type-2 intuitionistic fuzzy matrix games based on a new distance measure: Application to biogas-plant implementation problem

Shuvasree Karmakar et al.

Summary: This study aims to develop matrix games using Type-2 Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (T2IFS) as an extension to bridge the gap in portraying decision-makers' fuzzy preferences under different parameters, considering both acceptance and non-acceptance. The proposed methodology includes defining Hamacher aggregation operators in T2IFS environment, proposing Minkowski distance of T2IFS based on the Hausdorff metric, forming a similarity measure of T2IFS, and solving matrix games using the proposed distance measure with the biogas-plant implementation problem to validate applicability and validity.

Solution of matrix games with rough interval pay-offs and its application in the telecom market share problem

Mijanur R. Seikh et al.

Summary: The paper explores matrix games with Rough Interval (RI) pay-offs and investigates two different solution methodologies. The first approach constructs auxiliary linear programming problems with RI coefficients and converts them into classical linear programming problems (LPPs). The second approach uses the expected value technique for RI to transform auxiliary mathematical programming models to crisp LPP. The applicability of these approaches is demonstrated through a case study on the telecom market share problem.

Intuitionistic interval-valued hesitant fuzzy matrix games with a new aggregation operator for solving management problem

Ankan Bhaumik et al.

Summary: Hesitant fuzzy sets, an extension of fuzzy sets, are used to address uncertainty and vagueness in daily life problems. By considering the set of all possible values as a set of possible intervals, adding non-membership functions, intuitionistic interval-valued hesitant fuzzy number sets can be obtained. The newly proposed aggregation operator is effective in solving management problems and matrix games.

MULTI-OBJECTIVE LINGUISTIC-NEUTROSOPHIC MATRIX GAME AND ITS APPLICATIONS TO TOURISM MANAGEMENT

Summary: Game theory is crucial in addressing decision-oriented real-life problems, while neutrosophy logic introduces a new degree of uncertainty alongside membership and non-membership degrees. Multi-objective optimization focuses on optimizing multiple objective functions simultaneously, and when combined with game theory problems, can have practical implications in solving real-life issues.
