Rigid Polyimides with Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence for Polymer Light-Emitting Diodes with High External Quantum Efficiency up to 21 %

Summary: A series of rigid nonconjugated polyimide-based thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) polymers were reported for the first time, which exhibit high thermal stability and refractive index. Highly-efficient polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) based on these polymers achieved a maximal external quantum efficiency of 21.0%, showcasing the effectiveness of the design strategy in developing highly-efficient fluorescent polymer materials and PLEDs.

Multifunctional Organic Fluorescent Probe with Aggregation-Induced Emission Characteristics: Ultrafast Tumor Monitoring, Two-Photon Imaging, and Image-Guide Photodynamic Therapy

Summary: The development of multifunctional photosensitizers with aggregation-induced emission properties is essential for advancing photodynamic therapy. In this study, a multifunctional PS named DSABBT NPs was designed and prepared to provide ultrafast staining, excellent two-photon bioimaging, and high-efficiency image-guided PDT. DSABBT NPs exhibited bright solid-state fluorescence, high two-photon absorption cross-section, fast staining and imaging capabilities, as well as efficient singlet oxygen generation and image-guided PDT efficiency. Overall, DSABBT NPs show promise as multifunctional photosensitizers for cancer treatment.
