Treatment of NiMoO4/nanographite nanocomposite electrodes using flexible graphite substrate for aqueous hybrid supercapacitors

Shahrzad Arshadi Rastabi et al.

Summary: In this study, flexible graphite foil substrates were successfully utilized as current collectors for supercapacitor electrodes. The electrode treated with HNO3 and H2SO4 in a 1:1 ratio at 24 degrees C showed better electrochemical performance compared to other treatments, demonstrating good rate capability. Nanorod-shaped NiMoO4 was properly accommodated on the graphite surface during charge-discharge cycles, and treatment with high-concentration acid enhanced the adhesion of NiMoO4/nanographite, boosting electrochemical performance.
