The aggregation-induced emission of Methyl-bis-(4-triphenylvinyl-benzyl)-amine in solution with torsional and locked stacking effects

Mengmei Qin et al.

Summary: Di-TPE is a compound with torsional, locked stacking effect and aggregation-induced emission properties in solution, forming intra-locked conformation in aggregation state. This is different from the face-to-face stacking mode of TPE, potentially expanding the research field of fluorescent molecules, luminescent devices, and biological fluorescent probes.

A novel aggregation induced emission (AIE) fluorescence probe by combining tetraphenylethylene and 2′,3′-O-isopropylideneadenosine for localizing Golgi apparatus

Xinyi Xing et al.

Summary: A new strategy using TPE-Ade fluorescence probe for imaging Golgi apparatus was presented, which displayed enhanced fluorescence intensity with AIE characteristics, excellent co-localization imaging performance, and better photostability compared to conventional probes. This work may lead to the development of a fluorescence imaging tool based on a new Golgi apparatus localization group.
