Single-Particle Electrochemical Biosensor with DNA Walker Amplification for Ultrasensitive HIV-DNA Counting

Fanwei Luo et al.

Summary: The integration of magnetic separation and DNA walker amplification has resulted in a robust and sensitive single-particle electrochemical biosensor. This method effectively captures and separates targets from complex samples, avoiding interference and aggregation, leading to cyclic amplification and greatly enhanced detection sensitivity. The ultrasensitive detection of HIV DNA in complex systems demonstrates promising potential for real sample applications and the development of new single-entity biosensors.

Target-switchable DNA hydrogels coupled with a Bi2Sn2O7/Bi2S3 heterojunction based on in situ anion exchange for the signal-on photoelectrochemical detection of DNA

Hongkun Li et al.

Summary: A novel photoelectrochemical biosensor based on Bi2Sn2O7/Bi2S3 heterojunction and target-switchable DNA hydrogels is developed for ultrasensitive detection of P53 gene DNA. Sulfide ions were found to greatly enhance the PEC signal on Bi2Sn2O7 material by forming a heterojunction, leading to a significant amplification of the PEC signal.
