Enhancement of mechanical and corrosion resistance properties of electrodeposited Ni-P-TiC composite coatings

Summary: The study investigated the effect of titanium carbide (TiC) particle concentration on the structural, mechanical, and electrochemical properties of Ni-P composite coatings. Results showed that an increase in TiC particle concentration led to improved hardness and corrosion protection efficiency of the coatings, reaching optimal values at 1.5 g L-1.
