An Autotuning Cable-Driven Device for Home Rehabilitation

Jhon F. Rodriguez-Leon et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a cable-driven device for limb rehabilitation, CUBE2, with autotuning capabilities and a novel end-effector design. The device is modeled and analyzed with finite element analysis, and a vision-based control strategy is described. A prototype has been manufactured and experimentally validated, including preliminary tests to estimate home position repeatability.
