Design of biologically active binary protein 2D materials

Ariel J. Ben-Sasson et al.

Summary: By designing rigid interfaces, we have successfully generated binary layers co-assembled by two protein components, and experiments have shown that this material can rapidly form ordered structures in vitro and in cells. This design approach allows for customization and symmetry reconfiguration, enabling the formation of ligand arrays that can drive receptor clustering, downstream protein recruitment, and signaling.

DNA origami demonstrate the unique stimulatory power of single pMHCs as T cell antigens

Joschka Hellmeier et al.

Summary: By engineering a biomimetic interface, the study found that pairs of antibody-bound TCR5 serve as minimal receptor entities for effective TCR triggering, while transiently engaging antigenic pMHCs can also stimulate T cells effectively as isolated entities.

Application of SNAP-Tag in Expansion Super-Resolution Microscopy Using DNA Oligostrands

Longfang Yao et al.

Summary: Expansion super-resolution technology is a new technology developed in recent years that allows obtaining super-resolution maps under an ordinary microscope. By labeling the target protein with a first and secondary antibody, the distance between the fluorescent group and the actual target protein is increased. A novel label system was developed to reduce errors in positioning of the fluorescent group and minimize loss of the fluorescent group during sample preparation.
