Free convection and radiation effects in nanofluid (Silicon dioxide and Molybdenum disulfide) with second order velocity slip, entropy generation, Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium

M. Ijaz Khan et al.

Summary: This research focuses on the steady, incompressible two-dimensional Darcy-Forchheimer nanofluid flow towards a stretched surface, utilizing communication, mathematical modeling, and numerical simulation. Results show an increase in entropy generation rate with higher Brinkman number, and a decrease in temperature with higher values of the stratification parameter.

Mathematical analysis of heat and mass transfer in a Maxwell fluid

Muhammad Naveed Khan et al.

Summary: The current research focuses on analyzing the MHD flow of a Maxwell fluid on a stretching sheet with thermophoretic and stratification effects. The study utilizes the Cattaneo-Christov theory instead of Fourier and Fick laws to address heat and mass transfer, highlighting the impacts of various parameters on velocity profile, temperature, and concentration distribution. Results show that higher Deborah numbers lead to increased resistance and reduced fluid velocity, while thermal and concentration stratification parameters play a role in decreasing temperature and concentration distributions.

Models base study of inclined MHD of hybrid nanofluid flow over nonlinear stretching cylinder

Nadeem Abbas et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the stagnation point flow of hybrid nanofluid with inclined magnetic field over a moving cylinder, using mathematical models and boundary layer approximations to convert systems of partial differential equations to dimensionless systems of ordinary differential equations for numerical solutions. The effects of physical parameters variation are depicted through graphs, and skin friction coefficient and Nusselt number are highlighted through tables. The main objective is to investigate the heat transfer rate on the surface of the nonlinear stretching cylinder, comparing the results of Xue model and Yamada-Ota model for the hybrid nanofluid. In both cases, velocity and temperature profiles are best compared to the decay results.

Hybridized nanofluid with stagnation point past a rotating disk

Shafiq Ahmad et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the steady laminar MHD stagnation-point flow of a hybrid nanofluid through a rotating disk, analyzing the influence of nanoparticles on temperature behavior and velocity. The results show that the temperature of the hybrid nanofluid is higher compared to a simple nanofluid, while the radial velocity exhibits the opposite trend, with azimuthal velocity decreasing as magnetic and velocity slip parameters increase.
