Derar H. Abdel-Qader et al.

Summary: The study in community pharmacies in Jordan revealed that the overall rate of medication dispensing errors was 24.6%, with 11.5% being prescription related errors and 13.1% pharmacist counselling errors. Predictors of errors included Sundays, grade A pharmacies, and prescriptions with four or more medication orders. The findings suggest a need for training programs to improve safe medication dispensing practices among pharmacists.
