Utilization of Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy and Image Classification for Non-Invasive Early Assessment of Meat Freshness

Summary: This study developed a system combining electrical impedance spectroscopy and image classifier to assess the freshness of meat. By measuring multiple parameters and using machine learning algorithms, the freshness of meat was successfully predicted with significantly improved accuracy.

Assessment of rice seed vigour using selected frequencies of electrical impedance spectroscopy

Summary: The electrical impedance spectra of fresh and aging rice seeds were measured to develop a non-destructive method for measuring seed vigour. The impedance parameters of fresh and aging seeds were distinguishable, with significant differences in the low-frequency region. Introduction of independent variables significantly improved prediction accuracies for fresh and aging seeds.
