Effect of magnetic fields on the shot noise of a quantum dot with Luttinger leads

Kai-Hua Yang et al.

Summary: In this study, the joint effect of a magnetic field and intralead Coulomb interaction on shot noise in a strongly correlated quantum dot system in the Kondo regime was investigated. The presence of a magnetic field was found to either suppress or improve shot noise depending on the strength of the intralead interaction. Additionally, the Fano factor of shot noise was influenced by the magnetic field and dot-lead asymmetric coupling, resulting in sub-Poissonian noise.
