Nash game-based adaptive robust control design optimization for the underactuated mechanical system with fuzzy evidence theory

Yunjun Zheng et al.

Summary: This article proposes a novel Nash game-theoretical optimal adaptive robust control design approach to address the constraint-following control problem for uncertain underactuated mechanical systems with fuzzy evidence theory. The proposed control scheme combines the servo constraint following control method and the self-adjusting leakage-type adaptive law to accurately track the specified constraints of the underactuated mechanical system. The optimal control gains are obtained through Nash game theory and simulation results on a two-wheeled self-balancing robot demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Muxuan Pan et al.

Summary: This article proposes a novel robust control design for aircraft engines, taking into account the uncertain nature of the system. By dividing the uncertainty into matched and mismatched portions, and considering control cost and performance threshold, an optimal design parameter is proposed. The effectiveness of the control design is demonstrated through hardware-in-the-loop laboratory testing.

Deterministic Adaptive Robust Control With a Novel Optimal Gain Design Approach for a Fuzzy 2-DOF Lower Limb Exoskeleton Robot System

Jiang Han et al.

Summary: In this article, a deterministic adaptive robust control method with control gain parameters optimized by a novel cooperative game theory is proposed for the two-degree-of-freedom lower limb exoskeleton robot system with uncertainties and external disturbances. The control approach guarantees the boundedness of gait constraint deviation and parameter estimation error, and a novel cooperative game is formulated to seek Pareto optimal solutions for the control gains. Numerical technique is used to show the existence of optimal solutions, and simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed methodology in improving lower limb rehabilitation training.

Novel Optimal Adaptive Robust Control for Fuzzy Underactuated Mechanical Systems: A Nash Game Approach

Xiaolong Chen et al.

Summary: This article addresses the adaptive robust control design and parameters optimization for underactuated mechanical systems. The uncertainty is described using fuzzy set theory to form fuzzy dynamical systems. A novel adaptive robust control with two tunable gain parameters is designed, considering nonholonomic servo constraints. By applying Nash game theory, an optimization method for the two gain parameters is established, guided by the Nash equilibrium values. Effectiveness of the designed optimal control is demonstrated through numerical simulation.

Constraint-following control design for active suspension systems

Wu Qin et al.

Summary: This study formulates the control problem of active suspension systems as constraint-following, aiming to drive the system to follow a series of servo constraints including both equality and inequality constraints. A two-step control design is proposed, where diffeomorphism is used to integrate inequality constraints into equality constraints. The effectiveness of the approach is demonstrated through rigorous proof.
