The study introduces a novel double-nanohole-assisted cavity structure which can enhance the Purcell factor up to 6.5 x 10(4) over the visible spectrum, offering new opportunities for integrated quantum circuits with single-photon emitters.
The deterministic integration of single-photon emitters with large Purcell enhancements is vital for integrated quantum circuits. Here we propose a novel double-nanohole-assisted cavity structure, which can provide a larger local electric field thus resulting in a greatly enhanced Purcell factor. The optimization of the structural parameters shows that it can increase the Purcell factor up to 6.5 x 10(4) over the range of the visible spectrum, which is the highest value than those for previously reported structures. Our work may inspire new opportunities in helping design quantum-plasmonic platforms for future quantum information processing and on-chip plasmonic devices
