A novel single-phase Na3.6Y1.8 (PO4)3 :Bi3+ ,Eu3+ phosphor for tunable and white light emission

WenNa Zhang et al.

Summary: A new type of Bi3+, Eu3+ single- and co-doped Na3.6Y1.8(PO4)(3) phosphate phosphors were synthesized, with two crystallization sites for Bi3+ and Eu3+ ions. Adjustable emission was achieved by altering Eu3+ content, leading to pure white-light emission with a quantum efficiency of 22.9% and 85% integrated intensity retention at elevated temperatures, indicating potential applications in high-power ultraviolet-driven solid-state lighting.

A novel single-phase Ba3P4O13:Dy3+,Eu3+ phosphor with tunable-emission and high thermal stability

Mei Yan et al.

Summary: A novel single-phase Ba3P4O13:Dy3+,Eu3+ phosphor was successfully prepared, showing warm white emission under near-ultraviolet excitation with optimal composition and energy transfer from Dy3+ to Eu3+ validated. Tunable emission and excellent thermal stability of the phosphor were also demonstrated, highlighting its potential as a mono-phase converter for white LEDs pumped by near-UV chips.

Controllable luminescence and efficient energy transfer investigation o a novel white light emission phosphor Ca19Na2Mg(PO4)14: Dy3+, Tm3+ with high thermal stability

Heng Dai et al.

Summary: White light emission phosphors with adjustable emission and good thermal stability are synthesized in this study. The emission spectrum of the phosphors can be tuned by adjusting the doping ratio, showing potential for solid state lighting applications. Energy transfer efficiency and mechanism from Tm3+ to Dy3+ are further investigated to enhance their optical performance.
