Summary: This study focuses on the design of examining sugar-sweetened beverage taxation policy in seven sub-Saharan African countries to address the increasing burden of non-communicable diseases. It aims to strengthen policies related to NCD prevention by exploring the role of sugar-sweetened beverage taxation. Through collaborative development and the use of policy process theories, a method for policy landscape analysis was developed to enhance relevant policies for NCD prevention.
