The LOFAR Two-meter Sky Survey: Deep Fields Data Release 1 III. Host-galaxy identifications and value added catalogues

Summary: The study presents the detection and characterization of a faint radio source population in the deep tier of the LOFAR Two Metre Sky Survey, known as the LoTSS Deep Fields. The data release includes deep radio imaging of three fields at 150 MHz, with improved multi-wavelength catalogues generated for ELAIS-N1 and Lockman Hole. Through a combination of methods, multi-wavelength counterparts to the radio sources were identified and their physical properties and redshifts characterized.
