Ag+/W6+ co-doped TiO2 ceramic with colossal permittivity and low loss

Jie Zhu et al.

Summary: In this study, TiO2 based ceramics were synthesized with the introduction of high electronegativity W6+ ions and Ag+ ions, achieving superior dielectric performance while reducing dielectric loss. The physical origin of high dielectric permittivity and low loss, as well as the dielectric relaxation mechanism at different temperature regions, were explored.

Study of the Electrical and Dielectric behaviour of selenium doped CCTO ceramics prepared by a facile sol-gel route

M. Chinnathambi et al.

Summary: A sol-gel technique was used to prepare CaCu3-xSexTi4O12 nanoparticles, which were then calcined and sintered to obtain ceramics. Selenium doping affected the dielectric properties of CaCu3Ti4O12 ceramics, increasing the dissipation factor and reducing the dielectric constant, while also lowering the AC conductivity. The addition of selenium resulted in high resistivity due to increased charge carrier mobility and exhibited non-Debye type relaxation behavior in the electric modulus spectrum.

Dielectric and non-ohmic analysis of Sr2- influences on CaCu3Ti4O12-based ceramic composites

J. A. Cortes et al.

Summary: The study prepared CaCu3Ti4O12 ceramic composites by adding Sr2+ and removing Cu2+, resulting in the formation of different phases mixtures, with samples containing Sr0.75Ca0.25TiO3 phase showing potential non-ohmic behavior. It is noteworthy that samples with a higher presence of the SCTO phase displayed high nonlinear coefficient and low current leakage.

Mechanochemical Activation and Spark Plasma Sintering of the Lead-Free Ba(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3 Ceramics

Dariusz Bochenek et al.

Summary: The study investigates the impact of technological process on the final properties of lead-free BFN ceramic materials. Results show that longer MA duration times can increase the perovskite phase content, while 40 hours of milling significantly improves the microstructure of BFN ceramics. The BFN(x)MA materials exhibit high electric permittivity values for energy storage applications and negative dielectric properties for shield elements against electromagnetic radiation.
