The construction and validation of an RNA binding protein-related prognostic model for bladder cancer

Fengxia Chen et al.

Summary: This study established a prognostic model based on prognosis-related RBPs to predict the survival of BLCA patients. Eight independent prognosis-associated RBPs were identified to construct a risk score model, showing lower overall survival in high-risk subgroup and moderate predictive discrimination of the prognostic model. The nomogram established in this study showed favorable predictive value for the prognosis of BLCA.

A Novel Signature Constructed by RNA-Binding Protein Coding Genes to Improve Overall Survival Prediction of Glioma Patients

Zewei Tu et al.

Summary: In this study, a risk signature was constructed using 14 prognostic RBP genes to predict the prognosis of glioma patients. The RBP-signature showed robust prognostic value in various cohorts and was able to efficiently identify high-risk gliomas. It was associated with immune cell activation and key signaling pathways, serving as an independent prognostic factor for OS.

Development and Multi-Data Set Verification of an RNA Binding Protein Signature for Prognosis Prediction in Glioma

Chunpeng Sheng et al.

Summary: This study developed a novel RBP signature based on the expression of RBPs in glioma, which can robustly predict patient prognosis. High risk scores indicate a poorer prognosis, demonstrating good performance of the signature in prognosis prediction. Risk RBPs are mainly expressed in glioma malignant cells and have higher expression in glioma samples.

Identification and Validation of an Immune-Associated RNA-Binding Proteins Signature to Predict Clinical Outcomes and Therapeutic Responses in Glioma Patients

Ruotong Tian et al.

Summary: In this study, a novel signature composed of eight immune-associated RBPs was identified to be valuable in predicting the survival of glioma patients and guiding immunotherapy and chemotherapy. Higher risk scores indicated worse overall survival and increased expression of immunity-related molecules. Pathway enrichment, somatic mutation, and response prediction analyses were performed between high- and low-risk groups to evaluate their differences and potential treatment strategies.
