An improved unified viscoplastic model for modelling low cycle fatigue and creep fatigue interaction loadings of 9-12%Cr steel

Xiaowei Wang et al.

Summary: This study presents an improved unified viscoplastic model to simulate the various behavior of P92 steel under low cycle fatigue (LCF) and creep fatigue interaction (CFI) loadings. By adjusting the parameters and rules in the model, good agreement is achieved with experimental results.

Unified constitutive modeling of Haynes 230 including cyclic hardening/softening and dynamic strain aging under isothermal low-cycle fatigue and fatigue-creep loads

Wenyu Cao et al.

Summary: A unified viscoplastic constitutive model with wide temperature adaptability has been developed to capture the cyclic viscoplastic behaviors of Haynes 230 under different temperatures. By introducing effective aging time and improving the critical value of drag stress and hardening model, the model can simulate dynamic strain aging effects and respond to cyclic hardening or softening with temperature variations. Additionally, a multistage evolutionary approach has been proposed to determine the asymptotic value of back stress influenced by strain range and cumulative plastic strain.

Summary: The phase angle in TMF tests has a significant influence on the dominant damage mechanism and observed lifetime. A modified damage model has been proposed to account for the effect of the phase angle.
