Nanocomposites of CeO2/NiFe2O4 supported polymers were prepared using a hydrothermal process, showing improved morphology and magnetic response, suitable for applications involving photoinduced charge relocation and isolation.
The novel CeO2/NiFe2O4 nanocomposites supported polymers have been prepared by the hydrothermal process. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) demonstrates the creation of nanocomposite oxide substances comprising well-separated phases from mutually constitutive substances. Remarkable shape alteration of nanocomposites is owing to the addition of two phases which hastens the nucleation and particle growth that detected by HRTEM and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). By increasing the amounts of NiFe2O4, the potential of nanocomposites in support of absorption in the visible scope befall drastically sturdier and exposed a red-alter inside the visible-light region that proves through UV-visible diffuse reflectance (DRS), and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. The nanocomposite CeO2/NiFe2O4 advocates an enhanced magnetic response in the direction of an outside magnetic field that validates by a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Furthermore, providing products supporting photoinduced charge relocation and isolation has been carried out for nanocomposites for promising applications.
