Novel nanohybrids based on ferromagnetic\polymer derived from clay and polyaniline were synthesized via green methods, displaying good activity for oxidative removal of phenol and Direct red 81 from aqueous solutions. The hybrids showed high thermal stability and are suitable for environmental applications.
Novel supported nanohybrid based on ferromagnetic\polymer derived from clay and polyaniline were synthesized via the green synthesized method and denoted as PNH1, PNH2, and PNH3. The surface morphology of obtained nanohybrids was analyzed by different techniques including fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), SEM, TGA, particle size analyzer and X-ray Powder Diffraction analysis. The mean particle size of nanomaterials samples was with an average size of 6-20 nm. XRD patterns indicated a crystalline nature for the hybrids and confirmed the formation of supported ferromagnetic\polymer nanomaterials. The synthesized nanohybrids displayed good activity for oxidative removal of phenol and Direct red 81 (DR-81) from aqueous solutions. The reaction was followed by a conventional UV-Vis spectrophotometer at lambda max = 510 and 508 nm. The reaction exhibited first-order kinetics. It was shown that the nanohybrids offer high thermal stability, eco- friendly, simple experimental conditions, short time reaction, and easy work- up. So, these nanoparticles are valid for the real environmental applications.
