Decreased sleep quality in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus: a meta-analysis

Li Wu et al.

Summary: The meta-analysis revealed that the sleep quality of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is poorer than that of the general population, with higher scores indicating more sleep problems such as daytime dysfunction, poor subjective sleep quality, and reduced habitual sleep efficiency. Despite subgroup differences, SLE patients consistently showed worse sleep quality compared to controls, highlighting the need for increased attention to sleep status in this population.
