Sacran, a sulfated polysaccharide, suppresses the absorption of lipids and modulates the intestinal flora in non-alcoholic steatohepatitis model rats

Summary: The study showed that administration of sacran decreased oxidative stress, improved liver biochemical parameters, and had inhibitory effects on hepatic injury and inflammation. Additionally, sacran had significant impacts on gut microbiota composition.
