Crystalline symmetry-protected non-trivial topology in prototype compound BaAl4

Summary: BaAl4 is a topological semimetal with a unique Dirac spectrum and possible nodal lines, exhibiting an extremely large unsaturating positive magnetoresistance. Quantum oscillations and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy measurements confirm the predicted multiband semimetal structure.
