The investigation of CsPbBr3 nanorods and cubic CsPbBr3 nanocrystals reveals the anisotropic properties of CsPbBr3 nanorods, with their photoluminescence intensity and radiative lifetime being sensitive to the polarization direction. Additionally, CsPbBr3 nanorods display two-photon fluorescence. These findings provide comprehensive insights into the optoelectronic properties of inorganic halide perovskite nanomaterials.
Inorganic halide perovskite nanomaterials have attracted attention because of their potential in the field of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), liquid crystal displays, and nonlinear optical imaging. Herein, CsPbBr3 nanorods (NRs) have been investigated in detail; meanwhile, the cubic CsPbBr3 nanocrystals (NCs) act as a reference. The CsPbBr3 NRs with anisotropic properties show that their photoluminescence (PL) intensity and radiative lifetime are sensitive to the polarization direction. Through changing the temperature and pressure, the energy band, carrier dynamics, and radiative channel of CsPbBr3 NRs have been compared to CsPbBr3 NCs, and their excellent PL properties benefit from radiative recombination. Moreover, CsPbBr3 NRs exhibit apparent two-photon fluorescence (TPF), and their two-photon absorption (TPA) section is about 4656.5 GM and lower than that of CsPbBr3 NCs. Our results provide comprehensive insight into the optoelectronic properties of inorganic halide perovskite nanomaterials and highlight their potential in the optoelectronic field.
