The formation of Rb5Ag1/3Zr5/3(MoO4)(6) compound and its unit cell parameters and phase transition were established. The temperature and frequency dependences of dielectric parameters for Rb5M1/3Zr5/3(MoO4)(6) ceramics were measured, showing anomalies in conductivity at high temperatures.
The formation of Rb5Ag1/3Zr5/3(MoO4)(6) compound during the study of Rb2MoO4-Ag2MoO4-Zr(MoO4)(2) system by x-ray diffraction technique was established. Its unit cell parameters, phase transition were determined. The dimensions of trigonal unit cell Rb5Ag1/3Zr5/3(MoO4)(6) are a = 10.7235 (3), c = 38.548 (1), V = 3838.9 (3). Temperature and frequency dependences of dielectric parameters for Rb5M1/3Zr5/3(MoO4)(6) (M-Ag, Na) ceramics were measured by impedance spectroscopy in the temperature and the frequency range 300-773 K and 1 Hz-10 kHz, respectively. The correlation of dielectric and thermal parameters in the high-temperature region near the phase transition was revealed. Arrhenius plots of the conductivity showed anomalies at high temperatures (723-773 K), increasing several orders of magnitude to 10(-3) S K/cm.
