The combination of ketamine, dexmedetomidine, and meperidine used in vasectomy for golden-headed lion tamarins provided satisfactory sedation and analgesia with a short recovery time. Lidocaine infiltration was necessary for intraoperative analgesia, and atipamezole was administered at the end of the procedure.
