Influence of Ba2+Doping on Structural and Electrical Transport Properties of YMnO3Ceramics

Jyoti Shukla et al.

Summary: The study synthesized pristine and barium (Ba2+) doped YMnO3 ceramic samples through solid-state reaction method and investigated their structural and morphological properties using X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy. The results showed that partial substitution of Ba(2+) cation led to a decrease in the average crystallite size and the formation of non-uniform grains in the ceramics. Dielectric spectroscopy revealed a decreasing trend in dielectric constant and dissipation factor with increasing frequency, suggesting the significant role of space charge polarization.

Preparation of highly efficient sunlight driven photodegradation of some organic pollutants and H2 evolution over rGO/FeVO4 nanocomposites

Qana A. Alsulami et al.

Summary: FeVO4 and rGO/FeVO4 nanocomposites were synthesized via one-step hydrothermal method, with their structural and morphological properties investigated. The addition of rGO enhanced visible light absorption and photocatalytic performance of FeVO4, while the amount of rGO proved to be a crucial factor affecting its properties. The catalysts showed promising results in dye degradation and hydrogen evolution from water splitting under sunlight.

Green sonochemical synthesis of BaDy2NiO5/Dy2O3 and BaDy2NiO5/NiO nanocomposites in the presence of core almond as a capping agent and their application as photocatalysts for the removal of organic dyes in water

Seyede Raheleh Yousefi et al.

Summary: This study reported the sonochemical synthesis of DBNO NC and investigated its optical, electrical, magnetic, and photocatalytic properties. The effects of various factors on the photocatalytic activity were studied, showing that increasing the amount of catalyst and decreasing the dye concentration enhanced the photocatalytic activity of the nanocomposite. The degradation activity of AR14 was higher than that of AB92, and both dyes showed higher photocatalytic degradation under UV irradiation compared to visible light.
