Oxygen evolution reaction over catalytic single-site Co in a well-defined brookite TiO2 nanorod surface

Chang Liu et al.

Summary: Efficient single-site Co catalysts supported on well-defined TiO2 nanorods were found to exhibit excellent performance in the oxygen evolution reaction (OER), with turnover frequencies among the highest reported for Co-based catalysts. Computational and experimental results showed good agreement in describing the catalytic reaction kinetics and mechanisms.

Selection of anode materials and optimization of operating parameters for electrochemical water descaling

Yifei Guo et al.

Summary: This study investigated the integrated performance of four kinds of titanium substrate metal oxide electrodes in electrochemical scale removal techniques. Ti4O7 was selected as the optimal anode material to optimize system operating parameters. The results showed that current density and hydraulic retention time significantly affected the performance of the descaling process.

Fabrication of 3D compressible polyaniline/cellulose nanofiber aerogel for highly efficient removal of organic pollutants and its environmental-friendly regeneration by peroxydisulfate process

Wei Lyu et al.

Summary: PCNFA was developed as a nanostructured adsorbent for organic dye pollutants removal, exhibiting high compressive stress and adsorption capacity. The PDS process was used for the regeneration of PCNFA, maintaining high adsorption capacity for dyes even after multiple cycles. The electrostatic and 7C-7C stacking interactions were identified as driving forces for adsorption, with nonradical reactions contributing to the regeneration of PCNFA.
