In situ grown MnCo2O4@NiCo2O4 layered core-shell plexiform array on carbon paper for high efficiency counter electrode materials of dye-sensitized solar cells

Summary: This study successfully synthesized a carbon paper supported core-shell MnCo2O4@NiCo2O4 nanoarray structure through a two-step solvothermal method, and applied it in DSSCs with a high photoelectric conversion efficiency of 9.58%. The superior performance of this structure is attributed to the combination of carbon paper with NiCo2O4 nanosheets and MnCo2O4 nanoneedle arrays, as well as the advantageous properties of the titanium mesh.
