Dual anions engineering on nickel cobalt-based catalyst for optimal hydrogen evolution electrocatalysis

Qiong Sun et al.

Summary: A dual phosphorus/sulfur doped nickel-cobalt bimetallic material with optimized catalytic activity for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) was proposed. The catalyst showed highly efficient catalytic activity, fast reaction kinetics, and high stability in alkaline medium, demonstrating the advantages of a dual anion modification strategy for improving catalytic activity.

Interface engineering of mesoporous triphasic cobalt-copper phosphides as active electrocatalysts for overall water splitting

Ali Saad et al.

Summary: The study introduces a new approach for designing efficient electrocatalysts for overall water splitting. A two-step nanocasting-solid phase phosphorization method was used to create highly efficient triphasic phosphide catalysts with excellent electron transfer and mass transfer properties, enabling low-voltage operation at high current densities.
