A novel noble-metal-free Mo2C-In2S3 heterojunction photocatalyst with efficient charge separation for enhanced photocatalytic H2 evolution under visible light

Summary: Research on designing novel noble-metal-free photocatalysts for efficient hydrogen evolution has attracted significant attention. In this study, a novel noble-metal-free Mo2C-In2S3 heterojunction was synthesized, showing enhanced interface conductivity and carrier transportation. The optimal Mo2C-In2S3 composite exhibited a significantly higher H2 generation rate compared to pristine In2S3 and In2S3-1% Pt under visible light.
