Infrared photodetectors based on multiwalled carbon nanotubes: Insights into the effect of nitrogen doping

Rajeev Kumar et al.

Summary: MWCNTs and N-MWCNTs were synthesized using the pyrolysis technique, with Ag-MWCNTs-Ag structured devices fabricated for infrared detection showing superior performance. The external quantum efficiency of the N-doped MWCNTs based device is much higher than the undoped one, attributed to higher infrared absorption and trap assisted gain influenced by band structure modifications.

Impact of the heat treatment conditions on crystal structure, morphology and magnetic properties evolution in BaM nanohexaferrites

A. Trukhanov et al.

Summary: This study investigates the correlation between heat treatment conditions, crystal structure parameters, microstructure, and magnetic properties evolution in nanosized BaFe12O19 M-type hexaferrites. The results show that the annealing temperature has a significant impact on the microstructure parameters and non-linear changes in magnetic properties.
