Low Cost, Easy to Prepare and Disposable Electrochemical Molecularly Imprinted Sensor for Diclofenac Detection

Isabel Seguro et al.

Summary: A disposable electrochemical MIP sensor was developed for the selective determination of diclofenac, with fast analysis time, low cost, and easy preparation. The sensor showed good selectivity, repeatability, a linear range for detection, and satisfactory LOD and LOQ values. Its applicability was successfully demonstrated by detecting diclofenac in spiked water samples.

Fabrication, Characterization and Performance Evaluation of Screen-printed Carbon Electrodes: Determination of Acetaminophen in Tylenol

Ma Lu-Lu et al.

Summary: Screen-printed carbon electrodes (SPCEs) were compared with commercial DS 110 in their electrochemical performance, with the homemade SPCE showing larger peak-to-peak separation and more stable and precise current compared to DS 110. While DS 110 exhibited higher sensitivity, it was less reliable in the acetaminophen-in-Tylenol CV test. Determination of acetaminophen in real Tylenol samples proved to be helpful for additional quality control in SPCE fabrication.

Synthesis and characterization of bipyridine cobalt(ii) complex modified graphite screen printed electrode: an electrochemical sensor for simultaneous detection of acetaminophen and naproxen

Tahere Kondori et al.

Summary: A new Co(ii) compound and nano-scale nanoparticles were successfully synthesized and used for electrochemical sensing of acetaminophen and naproxen. The modified electrode showed high sensitivity and low detection limit, making it suitable for real sample analysis. Comparisons with other works were made to highlight the benefits of using this modified electrode for analyte determination.
