Quality control questions on Amazon's Mechanical Turk (MTurk): A randomized trial of impact on the USAUDIT, PHQ-9, and GAD-7

Summary: This study investigated the impact of different quality control checks on the outcome scores of three common screening tools among MTurk workers. Turking in the time of COVID

Summary: In March 2020, the US Government implemented strict social distancing measures, affecting millions of Americans who had to adapt to new ways of making a living from home. A study analyzing responses from 23 studies on MTurk between February and July 2020 found that the imposition of nationwide social distancing led to changes in the characteristics of participants, with a more diverse pool of new participants who were less attentive.
