Slip flow of Casson-Maxwell nanofluid confined through stretchable disks

R. J. P. Gowda et al.

Summary: This study investigates the flow of incompressible electrically conducting Casson-Maxwell fluid confined between two uniformly stretchable disks, implementing the Buongiorno nanofluid model. The study examines the effects of physical parameters on velocity, thermal, and concentration fields through numerical solutions. The findings show that different parameters have varying degrees of influence on the flow characteristics, with the Maxwell liquid being more sensitive to Lorentz force compared to Casson liquid.

Design of intelligent computing networks for numerical treatment of thin film flow of Maxwell nanofluid over a stretched and rotating surface

Iftikhar Uddin et al.

Summary: A novel application of backpropagated Levenberg-Marquardt neural networks was used to interpret the analysis of Maxwell nanofluid thin film flow over a stretchable and rotating disk. The study captured thermophoretic and Brownian motion features of the nanofluid and found that radial and azimuthal velocities are decaying functions of the Deborah number, while nanofluid temperature increases with higher radiation and thermophoresis parameters.

Solar energy aspects of gyrotactic mixed bioconvection flow of nanofluid past a vertical thin moving needle influenced by variable Prandtl number

Ying-Qing Song et al.

Summary: The study focuses on nanofluid flow over a vertical thin needle with gyrotactic microorganisms, considering the presence of a magnetic field in the incompressible electrically conductive liquid. The model includes the effects of thermophoresis and Brownian motion. The results show that increasing magnetic and buoyancy ratio parameters lead to a reduction in velocity gradient, while higher Biot number and radiation parameter enhance heat transfer. The density of motile microorganisms increases with Lewis number and decreases with Peclet number.

Intelligent computing for the dynamics of fluidic system of electrically conducting Ag/Cu nanoparticles with mixed convection for hydrogen possessions

Hira Ilyas et al.

Summary: This study aims to use neural networks and Levenberg-Marquardt backpropagation method to examine the dynamics of hydrogen possessions and variable viscosity in the fluidic system of electrically conducting copper and silver nanoparticles with mixed convection. The mathematical modeling of physical phenomena is reduced into nonlinear ordinary differential equations, and neural network models are used to calculate solutions for different scenarios created by varying physical parameters. The accuracy of the neural network model in solving fluid flow problems is validated and verified through mean squared error, error histograms, and regression studies.

Study of engine-oil based CNT nanofluid flow on a rotating cylinder with viscous dissipation

Masood Khan et al.

Summary: This study investigates the axisymmetric viscous carbon nanotube (CNT) nanofluid flow around a rotating circular cylinder, taking into account factors such as thermal energy transport, magnetohydrodynamics, and viscous dissipation. The findings suggest that the presence of a magnetic field leads to swirl motion in the cylinder, generating a transverse flow that contributes to the wall jet phenomenon. Additionally, the impact of Prandtl and Schmidt numbers, as well as the influence of strong Lorentz force on transport coefficients, is explored in relation to wall stress parameters and Nusselt number changes with Reynolds number variation.

Nonlinear mixed convective Williamson nanofluid flow with the suspension of gyrotactic microorganisms

Shuang-Shuang Zhou et al.

Summary: This study investigates the thermally developed bioconvection flow of Williamson nanoliquid over an inclined stretching cylinder, considering linear mixed convection and nonuniform heat source/sink. The activation energy and suspension of gyrotactic microorganisms are accounted for the bioconvection phenomenon. The results demonstrate that the fluid velocity decreases with the Williamson fluid parameter, while changes in the unsteadiness parameter and heat source parameter enhance the nanofluid temperature. The profile of motile microorganisms decreases with the bioconvection constant and bio-convection Lewis number.
