Summary: Mentha piperita essential oil is economically important due to its wide usage area and health-beneficial properties. Adulteration of high-valued essential oils can deteriorate the quality of authentic essential oil, harm consumers, and affect the entire supply chain. ATR-FTIR spectroscopy coupled with chemometrics is effective for monitoring various adulterants in essential oils.
