In-situ rapid bioaerosol detection in the ambient air by miniature multiplex PCR utilizing technique

Igor E. Agranovski et al.

Summary: Research on rapid and reliable detection of airborne pathogenic microorganisms is urgent due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. The development of a portable first alert bioaerosol monitoring technique using a personal bioaerosol sampler and a laser-based mini PCR machine shows promising outcomes in detecting microbial targets in a short time frame.

Experimental Investigation of Aerosol and CO2 Dispersion for Evaluation of COVID-19 Infection Risk in a Concert Hall

Wolfgang Schade et al.

Summary: The dispersion of small aerosols in a concert hall was experimentally studied to evaluate the risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection during a concert. The results showed that under certain conditions of fresh air ventilation, aerosols and CO2 did not accumulate within a hazardous range.
