Summary: This article proposes a novel hybrid signal detection algorithm for OTFS modulation, which combines the near-optimal symbol-wise MAP detection algorithm and a partitioning rule to reduce complexity. The algorithm utilizes power discrepancy of subsets to apply MAP detection to subset with larger channel gains and PIC detection to subset with smaller channel gains, achieving performance close to near-optimal algorithms with substantial gain compared to existing ones.
