Summary: This large, prospective cohort study of adults with repaired CoA revealed a high burden of cardiovascular events, particularly aortic complications and arrhythmias, during long-term follow-up. Older age at initial CoA repair and elevated left ventricular mass index were independently associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular events. Mortality was 3.3-fold higher compared with the general population.
