Intersectionality and Smoking Cessation: Exploring Various Approaches for Understanding Health Inequities

Summary: This study used an intersectionality framework to examine how multiple marginalized attributes impact smoking cessation outcomes. Results indicated that lower household income may be related to a higher risk of smoking cessation failure, and differences between intersectional groups may contribute to certain groups being at a higher risk of relapse.
