This study presents the results of field electron emission from two-dimensional graphene-like nanostructures synthesized using self-propagating high-temperature synthesis method. It demonstrates the creation of efficient large-area field emitters with low-threshold field emission effect, capable of generating high-current electron beams in pulsed electric fields.
This paper presents the results of a study of field electron emission from two-dimensional graphene-like nanostructures synthesized by the method of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis. It is shown that this technology makes it possible to create efficient large-area field emitters. It is found that such structures exhibit the effect of low-threshold field electron emission. The possibility of obtaining high-current electron beams with currents up to several hundred amperes has been confirmed in pulsed electric fields.
