Efficient sulfur resistance of Fe, La and Ce doped hierarchically structured catalysts for low-temperature methanation integrated with electric internal heating

Liguang Dou et al.

Summary: Introducing dopants such as La and Fe on nickel-supported catalysts can enhance the metal-support interaction, improve the reducibility of active metallic Ni, and thus enhance the conversion efficiency of CO2 methanation reactions. Additionally, the addition of La can lower the energy barrier for CO2 adsorption and inhibit the adsorption of gaseous H2S on the catalyst surface.

An insight into the heat-management for the CO2 methanation based on free convection

Andreina Alarcon et al.

Summary: The study proposes a novel heat-management approach for CO2 valorization to synthetic natural gas based on free convection, and identifies the optimal reaction conditions through experiments and simulations. The experiment demonstrates efficient CO2 conversion under the proposed conditions.
